Peterson Health’s self-scheduling site is now closed.  We have concluded our vaccine clinics and will administer the final and 2nd dose to those people already pre-registered.  The National Guard will be vaccinating the public all next week and vaccines are readily available at our local pharmacies.

Peterson Health will continue to update our website and COVID site.  Please visit the Peterson Health website at www.petersonhealth.com.

In addition, as of May 14th the COVID-19 call center will be closed.  Please call our main hospital number at (830)896-4200 for other options.

If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or needing testing for travel please contact or visit Peterson Urgent Care on Junction Highway at 830-258-7669.  Urgent Care is open Monday through Friday 7am to 7pm and on weekends 8am to 4pm.

Peterson Health will continue to require the use of facemasks or face coverings for all employees and visitors throughout all of our healthcare facilities and we encourage everyone to continue to practice healthy and safe habits.

Today, Peterson Health is reporting 5 new positive Kerr County cases, which bring our total to 2,587.  At this time, there are 5 patients hospitalized at Peterson Regional Medical Center with COVID.

Kerr County death toll remains at  87.

Over the weekend, the Texas Department of State Health Services reported 1 new death which brings our death toll in Kerr County to 87.

Our Kerrville Medical Plaza offers COVID-19 testing for persons NOT experiencing symptoms or in need of testing for travel.  You may schedule an appointment by calling (830) 896-4200 option 1, Mon. thru Fri. from 0730 AM to 4 PM.

As of Tuesday, April 13, FDA and CDC recommended a pause of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.  Peterson Health is following their recommendation.  Peterson will be providing the Moderna vaccine for those wanting to receive.
