Hello.  This is Pam Burton, Infection Preventionist for Peterson Health with your COVID 19 update.  This message was updated on Friday, April 23rd.

Peterson is still providing the Moderna vaccine for those wanting to receive.

Peterson Health’s self-scheduling link is available for scheduling.  Please visit the Peterson Health website at www.petersonhealth.com. The link is accessible 24/7.  For those who do not have internet, an email or access to a computer, you may call 1-800-208-3611 for assistance in scheduling your COVID-19 vaccine appointment.

Our Kerrville Medical Plaza offers COVID-19 testing for persons NOT experiencing symptoms or in need of testing for travel.  You may schedule an appointment by calling (830) 896-4200 option 1, Mon. thru Fri. from 0730 AM to 4 PM.

If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 please contact or visit Peterson Urgent Care on Junction Highway at 830-258-7669.  Urgent Care is open Monday through Friday 7am to 7pm and on weekends 8am to 4pm.

Peterson Health will continue to require the use of facemasks or face coverings for all employees and visitors throughout all of our healthcare facilities and we encourage everyone to continue to practice healthy and safe habits.

Today, Peterson Health is reporting 0 new positive Kerr County cases, which bring our total to 2,561.  To date, Peterson has administered 21,815 tests. At this time, there are 2 patients hospitalized at Peterson Regional Medical Center with COVID.

Kerr County death toll remains at 86.
