High dose flu shots for seniors 65 years of age and older are $65.00 if paying cash and the quadravalent vaccine for anyone 64 years and younger is available for $39.00. Volunteers and pharmacists will be on hand to help community members understand which vaccine is right for them.

Peterson Health is proud to partner with HEB each September as flu season can start as early as October and can last into late spring. But some individuals will develop potentially serious complications such as pneumonia, bronchitis, and sinus and ear infections. People over the age of 65, those with chronic medical conditions and residents in long-tern care facilities are at higher risk for complications and should definitely receive a flue shot.
