Update on the Search for Peterson Health’s Next President and CEO

Kerrville, TX – With the departure of Cory Edmondson as President/CEO of Peterson Health, the Board of Directors is making progress on identifying his successor.

The Board has formed a CEO Search Committee who has been working diligently with an Executive Search Firm to find Edmondson’s replacement. The national search is going well. Mary Liz Eastland, Search Committee Chair, says “There are several qualified candidates from across the nation who have applied for the role and are currently being vetted.” She joins Board Chairman, Tom Houdeshell, in stating “The Board feels a great responsibility to this organization and community to ensure we take our time to properly screen and find the best possible fit for this position.” The search committee is made up of several Board and community members.

Since Edmondson’s last day in the role is February 7, the Board is following policy and procedure to ensure that Peterson Health continues to function until Edmondson’s replacement is found. Therefore, Joe Piszczor, COO for Peterson Health, will fill the role as Interim CEO. The Board wants to assure the community and Peterson Health staff that the Senior Leadership Team is well positioned to carry the torch in the interim.
