Peterson Health Donates $100,000 to Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce Rebuilding and Recovery Fund
Kerrville, TX – Peterson Health has announced a $100,000 donation to the Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Kerrville Area Rebuilding and Recovery Fund to assist small business owners in Kerr County as they recover, rebuild, and reopen following recent flood damage.
The donation will help provide direct financial support to local businesses facing flood-related recovery needs, including physical repairs to interiors and exteriors, façade improvements, replacement signage, utility assistance, equipment and inventory replacement, and gap funding related to insurance delays or denials. By strengthening the Chamber’s recovery fund, Peterson Health is helping ensure that small business owners have access to flexible resources that can address urgent needs today while supporting long-term recovery across Kerr County.
Small businesses are central to Kerr County’s economy and community identity. Many local owners not only sustained damage to their facilities, equipment and inventory, but also continued serving neighbors throughout the recovery by providing meals, supplies, services, and support. Peterson Health’s contribution will help keep recovery dollars close to home, allowing the Chamber to deploy grant funding to businesses working to repair damage, restore operations, retain employees, and continue serving residents and visitors throughout the Hill Country.

The Kerrville Area Rebuilding and Recovery Fund was established to provide immediate and long-term support to businesses impacted by flooding. Eligible businesses may apply for grants based on demonstrated need and severity of impact, with funds intended to help cover repairs, rebuilding, recovery expenses, and other documented flood-related business needs.
