Peterson Health Foundation Gala Postponed to SEPT 2027
Over the past two years, Kerr County has experienced unimaginable challenges. While this most recent flood did not result in the same level of loss of life, the destruction to homes, businesses, and infrastructure throughout our community has been widespread and significant. State officials have thus far identified nearly 500 damaged homes and approximately 100 damaged businesses in Kerr County. The impact on families, employers, employees, and community organizations will be felt for months to come.
As many of you know, the Peterson Health Foundation Gala is our largest fundraising event of the year. To be successful, we ask businesses, families, and community leaders to invest generously in our mission. At this moment, however, many of those same individuals are focused on recovery efforts, rebuilding their homes and businesses, and supporting impactful flood relief initiatives. At the same time, we also recognize that our community needs hope, healing, and a sense of normalcy. The Cath Lab project remains critically important, and our commitment to advancing healthcare close to home has not changed.
The Peterson Health Foundation Gala will be held September 18, 2027, and the event will be a tribute to the resilience, strength, and spirit of the Hill Country while still supporting this very important initiative.
